Awaiting photograph
  Glen Atkinson (Midfield)
Glen is a young, enthusiastic midfielder who joined us from Lincoln City last season and has made a big impact at the club. This teenager has a huge appetite for the game.
  Sean Cann (Striker)
Canny joined us last season from Lincoln Moorlands and had a frustrating time adjusting to Unibond football and had several spells injured. He has looked very sharp in the early part of this campaign and can make a real impact at this level. Score the winning goal in last season’s Lincolnshire Senior Shield Final at Brigg.
  Ryan Creane (Centre Back)
Uncompromising defender who should be given his chance in the first team this season under the stewardship of Seamus Lawless. Son of former United player Ged, Ryan has progressed through the United ranks and also played for Moorlands for a period during the 2007/08 campaign.

  Terry Fleming (Right Back)

  Luke Forbes (Centre Midfielder)
Luke is a right-sided player who was a summer acquisition from Unibond League Division South rivals Spalding United. Luke joined the Tulips from Boston United, where he was part of the side that won the Lincolnshire County Cup and was a substitute in a League Two match.
  Dave Frecklington (Midfield)
Dave was a close season signing from Spalding United and is now back at the club he joined upon his release from Lincoln City. Had several good seasons at Harrowby United and Stamford in between his spells at Ashby Avenue. Dave can play on either wing or up front.

  Danny George (Defender)
Another former player who re-signed for the club following Seamus Lawless’ appointment as manager. Danny is a versatile player who has had spells with Stamford and Spalding United, the latter where the Whites signed him from. He can also name Doncaster Rovers and Burton Albion as previous clubs.
  Josh Giles (Centre Back)

  Chris Glarvey (Defender)
Central defender who is also in his first season with the club following his switch from Belper Town.
  Ben Good (Striker)
Tall, strong striker who joined the Whites from local side Hykeham following a prolific spell in front of goal. Ben is also in his first season with the club following his summer move.

  Luther Huntley (Defender/Midfield)
Has looked excellent in several pre-season friendlies but disappeared for a three week holiday right on the start of the season but big things are expected of this talented young player.
  Jake Keyworth (Centre Midfielder)
Young midfielder who should finally have his chance to break into the first team under Seamus Lawless, after progressing through the club’s reserve team. Jake had a spell at city neighbours Lincoln Moorlands Railway last season.
  Scott Lowman (Centre Forward)
As a prolific local league goalscorer, Lowman had progressed through United’s reserve team system before becoming frustrated at a lack of first team opportunity at Ashby Avenue. This prompted a move to link up with Grantham Town, where he was named substitute on eight occasions towards the end of the 2007/08 campaign. However, he re-joined the Whites in July 2008.
  Tom Mallinson (Centre Midfielder)
Midfielder who, despite being part of a relegated side, impressed significantly last year. Tom is a hard-working, classy player who should combine with Brendan McDaid to produce a strong central midfield unit this season.
  Brendan McDaid (Centre Midfielder)
Tough, box-to-box central midfielder who is now in his fourth spell with the Whites after leaving Ashby Avenue in June 2007 to re-join former manager John Wilkinson at Grantham Town. However, his third stint with the Gingerbreads only lasted a season, albeit a very successful one. McDaid managed 15 goals in 49 appearances as Grantham missed out on promotion after losing to Nantwich Town in the play-offs. He initially began his career at Lincoln Moorlands.

  Jack McGovern
Young right-sided player who linked up with the Whites in the summer following Seamus Lawless’ appointment as manager. Jack was on the books at city neighbours Lincoln City. Jack will be hoping to be a regular fixture in United’s side this season and continue some impressive pre-season form.
  Richard Ossai (Goalkeeper)

  Ryan Porter
Left-sided player who re-signed from Lincoln Moorlands Railway during the summer following the appointment of Seamus Lawless as manager. Ryan, usually a left-back, had a spell with the Whites earlier in his career.
  Kallum Smith (Left Back)
Promising left-sided player who joined the club aged 16. Callum has impressed throughout his development with the Whites and has been the subject of some interest because of his prodigious talent. Despite his small stature, he is extremely competitive with a beautiful left-foot.
  Nigel Wallace (Left Midfielder)
Formerly on the books at Lincoln City, Nigel made one appearance for the Whites last season under manager John Ramshaw in the 3-0 defeat to Kings Lynn in the FA Cup. However, he did not manage to add to this as the United were relegated. A change of management in the summer enabled left-footed Wallace to return to Ashby Avenue.
  Ian Wilkins (Centre Back)
Born in 1980, Ian is a solid defender who is equally adept at either full-back or centre-half. Having started his career at Lincoln City, where he made 10 first team appearances, he has also had short spells at Scunthorpe United and Ballymena. Locally, Ian can list Spalding United and Grantham Town as former clubs. The latter is where he operated last season, although suffering an injury-disrupted campaign he made 23 games for the Gingerbreads. Was vice-captain during his last spell with the Whites.
  Sam Wilkinson (Centre Forward)
Son of former manager John Wilkinson, junior is a powerful centre forward who is in his second spell with the club, after he followed father John to Grantham Town ahead of the 2007/08 campaign. Having made 39 appearances – and netting 15 goals - during his second stint with the Gingerbreads he decided to leave in March 2008. Following a brief spell at city rivals Lincoln Moorlands Railway towards the end of last season, Sam returned to the club he lives around the corner from!
  Jon Wren (Centre Midfielder)

  Mario Ziccardi (Goalkeeper)
Talented goalkeeper who, after a season away, re-joined the club following Seamus Lawless’ appointment as manager. For the Whites, Ziccardi was a crucial part of the side that finished in a highly-respectable mid-table position in the Unibond Premier Division during the 2006/07 season. However, at the end of that season he returned to Grantham Town. Anglo-Italian Mario started his career at Nottingham Forest as a schoolboy before being released. Soon after, he joined Scunthorpe United as a YTS before again not making the first team, despite spending several years at Glanford Park.
