Lincoln United play at Ashby Avenue which is situated behind the picturesque Hartsholme County Park.
The boardroom and secretary's office was erected in 1993 and is named in honour of Maurice Bull who has made immense contributions to the club's welfare.
In 1994 the main stand, the south stand and the Willy White suite for vice presidents were erected.
In recent years thanks to good relationships with the Mid-Lincs Youth League and excellent youth coaching, the club has reached the first round proper of the under 18 Youth Cup. Four players have been among the last 64 invited by the E.S.F.A. to Keele University and two of them were regular members of our first eleven. It was expressed by wise judges inside the club that others should have been invited.
They are not to be argued with as over the years Lincoln United has produced many England internationals at youth level and a multitude of boys who have gone on to professional careers, perhaps the most famous of which are Gary Crosby (Nottingham Forest) and Steve Froggatt (Aston Villa and Coventry City). Froggatt has also been selected by England at full international level. |
